I downloaded spybot and ran it every time I quit and it found like 5-6 things every day and then about 2 days ago, it started finding nothing, is this OK ?

That depends on many things. I have and use the program religiously on my computer along with other software as well. SPYBOT is the best program out there I think free and pay. I would suggest two things to you to check your systems. first connect to the Internet. Start the SPYBOT program and go get all the updates it has available. Immunize your system after your download completes. Then check your system for problems and fix all discovered problems. After this is done close the system and uninstall it from your computer completely. Then go reinstall it or re-download it to your computer, update it and run it again. If it doesn't find any problems You probably don't have any. You might also try going into settings and checking the SPYBOT configurations you have set.

It can be fine but make sure you are running the update feature to update the signature files. If you haven't used the computer or accessed the web much you probably won't find anything with it since you last ran it. A lot of what it finds are files that really pose no threats but contain things that could be used to find your patterns of net use and also what it may refer to as Trojan down-loaders. The down-loaders could be from games you play on-line where it asks you to install program to play, so if you play on-line games that could be some of what it finds and of course if you didn't play any in a few days it won't find those either.

A bit more than you may have needed but hope it helps.

Run the update. If still nothing found, you are in good shape. If you are using the "immunize" feature you are protecting your computer from getting bad software in the first place.
