You are certainly making a contribution.
I dont buy anything Made in China, because if I do -
It supports the Worlds worst polluter.
It has to be shipped round the World polluting as it goes.
The products are toxic with lead.
The products have little intrinsic value, they are just over priced, over packaged, homogenous consumer High Street garbage for a resource eating , throw away society.
They use child labour.
It puts money into the pocket of a regime that executes more than TEN TIMES than the rest if the World combined.
Their legendary animal cruelty is despicable.
NOT BUYING CHINESE PRODUCTS IS DIRECT ACTION AGAINST THE POLLUTION OF THE PLANET, WASTE OF RESOURCES, EXPLOITATION,CRUELTY, MASS EXECUTIONS AND INHUMANITY.

energy saving lamps, off switch for electronics instead of standby, organic food as much as possible, recycling, public transport, keep the heating in the house moderate, switched to eco friendly electronics, hunt fish and gather as much as possible, try never to waste food or water, try to boycot excessively wrapped products etc. Sounds exhausting, but once you've set up it's no problem.

I recycle and it is a common practise in our house ..
I have taught my children to be environmentally aware
We do own a car .. but rarely use it ..My hubby cycles to work and i walk everywhere i can..
We have just started to grow our own vegetables ...
We are very aware of environmental issues when shopping and tend to buy products with packaging..
We dispose of all our waste correctly ,,, we do not use a tumble dryer unless necessary ..
We use recycled products and we use energy efficent lightbulbs

Nothing. It was the generations before me that trashed the place and now you are expecting me to foot the bill? No chance. Also, it will be a cold day in hell (thank you) when I allow myself to be dictated to by rock and movie stars, the BBC, the government and green-facists such as yourself.
No offence

i turn lights off when im not in the room, unplug my phone charger when not useing it, dont leave taps running, don't leave my tv on standby, but that's about it.
I can't be bothered to recycle. I have enough hassle in my life without having to do that too!
