Cool question and interesting, too. If you did have wings, would they allow you to fly only short distances or make the long trip from North to South every year? Here's hoping they're beautiful (...and energy effecient, too)...

Penguins have wings, and they don't fly!

Flying squirrels DON'T have wings, and they can "fly"

Maybe you can already fly without wings. Here's a fun experiment to see if you can. Take a long around, find the TALLEST building you can. It must be at least 3 stories high. Go to the top and stand on the edge looking down. touch your nose with one finger, click your heels together, think happy thoughts, and say, there's no place like the morgue three times, and than jump. If you fly, congrats. If not, oh well.

Chickens can fly or at least slow their decent. Penguins and ostriches are another thing. And no however there is nothing existing in Nature that can fly without wings.

No. Chickens can fly but usually have their wings clipped. And plus your body isn't built for flying.
Birds are light. They have hallow bones, just about perfect aerodynamics, and little fat. They are built to fly, and we aren't. We weight to much, don't have as good aerodynamics and our bones have marrow in the center. Not to mention we don't proportionately have as big hearts as birds. Maybe if you get a virus that genetically alters your body to have those things and not loose your brain structure then yes.

There are several birds who can't fly, look at the penguin or the emu.

If you want to fly you need to have wings, but wings not necessarily make a flier.
