I'd go to Hong Kong coz I've been loads before when my sis lived there (she is now in Thailand). So I know my way around.
Most people understand English and I can get by with the little bits of Cantonese my sis and her friends taught me.
It's cheap if you know where to shop/eat/drink etc.
It's hot
It's got everything in a small place. Just go 5 miles from the city/harbour that you always see in films and TV and it really is a paradise. Plus there are literally hundreds of other nearby islands to visit, Macau being probably the most famous.
The locals generally like the English, there is little crime.
Plus your ideally placed to visit the rest of SE Asia like we would go to Spain or Greece.
Finally the food/women are gorgeous in no particular order.

Although I love France, I'm retarded with the language so that's out as an option. I think I'd join you. The Guiness would be heaven with a group of friendly Irish folk.

I would (and am intending to) emigrate to Cyprus. The people are very accommodating and friendly there. The way of life is so good and the cost of living so cheap. I have been there a few times now and love it, my boyfriend has lived there for a while (based in the army) and he loves it too, so it seems the obvious move for us when he takes early retirement in 14 years time.
