Yes, she was in "Far and Away" with Tom Cruise.
It was on that set that the two first met, then later wed, then of course, their divorce.

As far as I know, she was never in Descent.
Oh... you meant "decent"...
Batman Forever wasn't a bad flick. So long as you don't care for things like "plot" or "acting".
Also, her role as "voice on the phone" in Panic Room was just impeccable.

To me, she's a good actress. As for her movies, she doesn't seems to have that leading-role attributes in her though.
