Yes. My mind has opened wider and I don't fall into the trap of considering tradition or prejudices, like I did when I was younger.

I think it goes one of two ways as we age
1. Some people get more close minded and sure they are right and don't seek new information or like new perspectives. These people love the good old days and think they know everything.
2. The others open their minds more to seeking new information, becoming less judgemental and as a result they get more compassionate and wise. These people love the present and know they have so much more to learn.

sadly most of us do not get wiser as we grew older...some are even going backwards by being unwise in their ways and actions...while the younger generations are wiser beyond their years totally amazes me even till now...in our world today...we just cannot use our age as a guide to our intelligence...it just doesn't work that way anymore = )

Not really. I've always been wise ever since I was a kid. Having talked to many people (adults) in my life, I don't think they're wise at all. As a matter of fact, many adults are as dumb as the dumbest kids out there.
