I own a shop, and do a lot of restoration work. As once said, "a vehicle is worth what someone will pay for it" certainly rings true. You can go to www.nada.com and they have a place to find the value of classic vehicles. I don't agree with some of their methods though. It would give you an idea of where to begin. Many things come into play when placing a value on a vehicle such as this one. Demand is the most important factor, followed by the condition of the vehicle, and finally by how rare the vehicle is. Suppose it was one of only 100 vehicles like it made, then it would certainly bring much more than the book value because of this.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

I have a '70 Delta 88 that is not in good shape body wise but has an excellent running gear. I have done some research on the value of just the 455 engine. What I came up with is the engine alone if in good running condition is worth around $700 to $900. I also have a '78 Bonneville Brougham that is in good condition with only 92K miles and I have it advertised for $2500. Hope this helps you.

Don't sell cheap the 455 is a diamond in the rough. For a person looking for a #'s matching 4bbl carb 455 they will pay $1000... I would check out putting it on ebay or even look through the yahoo user groups for OLDS usergroups or even 442 usergroups for people with intensions of using these older cars and they will give you a fair price...

Kelly blue book only does values on newer vehicles because with old ones there are to many variables, this car in fair running condition and with a fair body and interior is probably worth about $1000

Check with Hemmings.com---they have ads for classic car appraisers and you could check the for sale ads in there too for similiar cars to yours for a rough price. They have a monthly magazine/book that you might find at magazine stands or book stores---it's the classic car bible. Any classic car can have a wide range of value but it's ultimately only worth what someone is willing to give you for it.
