I have a 30 day cycle. I am trying to concieve. ITs so discouraging each time my period comes. I have used those stupid websites that say when i ovulate. they don't work. I have tried every one of them. I refuse to spend on on the OPK . they are to much money. is there one you can buy online that comes with test strips? id rather invest in one i can reuse. Sorry im just really upset. I took a digital EPT test the digital part said negative but the stick inside had two lines. im three days before my period i woke up this morning and took my first morning urnitation since it has the most hormones well just my luck the test doesnt even register it has an error on it. I'm so damn frustrated i could cry. any insight anything? anything is appreciated thanks so much

You could try the Basal body temperature method. Someone I know is trying it, as they are also having trouble concieving.

I've found that the best way to find out very accurately your ovulation days is to actually use a basal body temperature chart.
It tells you exactly when you're fertile, day by day. We concieved using an ovulation calendar (it work really well for us) and a BBT chart together. You know for a fact that you're fertile if you record a few symptoms and the temperature. Some of them have a formula of calculation based on a dip in temperature three days or so before O day and even alert you when it's time to test (based on some results again).
There's a good one on www.babywoderland.co.uk, it's also completely free, but you need to register with them first.

did yo happen to read my question yesterday titled " just venting" ? very similar to yours. Next time pee in a cup. just in case you get a bad result you can test again. OPKs are 25 test strips for 17.99 at babyhopes.com. I have loads of them and when and if i get pregnant i will be more than glad to dontate them to you. As for seeing two lines and it saying negative. go straight to the doc. you may be pregnant but not producing enough progesterone to sustain the implantion. you cn get a shot. also have a blood test. go today though. I was told i had two chemical preganncys. meaning the egg fertilized but wasnt mature enough to survive and my pregesterone was low. As much as i hate to hear this o hate even more to say it. but it is true..when the time is right you will conceive. I myself do not want to wait for god to make his decision. i want it now. I have been trying for 6 months and this morning i took my temp and it dropped a whole degree and a half. Im not pregant. i tried so hard this month, with the clomid, glucophage, robotussin etc. what a waste. anyway, you have a lot of company on here feeling the same frustrated feeling. If it is meant to be it will be and worrying about it is not going to make a difference. Try to focus your energy on something else and hopefully soon when you are not even thinking about it you will start feeling more tired than usual and so on that when it occurs to you that you may be pregnant you will already be 6 weeks pregnant.
