abolition of the party list in the Philippines political system is not beneficial. this is the only 'sector' that represents the marginalized people of our country. without the party list, voices of the poor and the opperessed cannot be heard.

it is a common knowledge to everybody that our representatives / politicians are not true to its 'public service' word. so, who else would hear and help us when this politicians don't even want to entertain the poor? besides, party-list is acknowledge in our constitution under Article VI, Section 5. Abolition of the party-list system means undermining the authority of the Philippine Constitution.

The abolition of party-list system won't be beneficial. The marginalized or underrepresented sector of Philippine society would be deprived of representation in Congress should the abolition of system pushes through. The traditional political parties would continue to dominate the legislature and pass laws beneficial to their interests. The marginalized sector would then be deprived of its voice in the halls of Congress where uncaring congressmen abound.

The party list must be removed from Congress because the winners do not really represent the marginalized groups of the society that really need support of government.
