I don't know why I'm unable to fall asleep today this isn't good. Maybe I should knock myself out with a left hook?

I worked grave yard for years. I got married 7 months ago and now Im a house wife. Its been more then a year since I left that job but I still cant sleep at night and I only sleep for a few hours aday. Some times its really stressful on me. I lay in bed with my husband untill he falls asleep then I get up and do house work or any thing to make me tired. Yes it does piss me off. I just want some sleep!!!!!

Despite being naturally nocturnal, I've never in my life had a problem falling asleep. I love that my sleep cycle leaves me awake during the most peaceful, beautiful hours of the night and that I'm blissfully unconscious when children are screaming and running around outside.
Oh, as for forcing yourself asleep, try this: lay down, close your eyes, and breathe slowly and evenly. Start counting your breaths. When you breathe in count 1, out 2, in 3, etc. When you reach 50, count backwards down to 0, still in time with your breaths. If you aren't asleep by then, try the whole process again, but go up to 100.
