Because sometime we loose things / people/ parts of ourselves in the things that have happened.
Until we find or replace what we have lost by learning from the past, we will always look behind us.
I hope the future is better for you too, and i hope tomorrow brings sunshine again for me, because the rain of yesterday is falling still today!

The past is good to be remembered but not to be lived upon. Some of the memories of the past are good and some are bad.Those that created hurts/pains should be remembered as a guiding post not to fall on the same trap.But those which are good memories should served as an inspiration.
The past is already a part of the history.We still have a present and a future to face.

I live for the day and the future, but I have a sometimes too good memory of the past.

I learn from the past but live in the present and plan for the future. Sometimes it requires living in the past to recall an issue that could arise in the future!

I miss it very much, and always wish I could go back a few years...
I guess the fact remains that you can never really let go of the past until youre truly happy with the present.
Or maybe its just that the present suck so much that the past seems more glorifying than it really is?

i learn from mistakes made in the past but i don't live in the past. i live for now and whatever the future holds for me.
