yes girl, it does sound like it! i went through a depression before, it was a horrible time (about 2 month) and i pray that i will never ever have to go thru it again. I felt unhappy, sad, tired but couldnt sleep, had no energy at all, was with my friends but just felt like laying on the bed by myself, i felt worthless. I went to the doctor and he said its a typical depression and that it is no wonder because my dad got it since years and my step mom comit suicide because of depressions, he wanted to give me real strong anti-depressivia but i thought, hey im only 20 years old, i cant swallow those things in my age. so i went to another doctor, he gave me herbal pills and they really helped me to overcome it. Sport helped me with it too.
my advice for you, try herbal medicine first before u start swallowing stuff which can really affect your whole psych.
I wish you all the best! big hug

More than likely you are depressed from the sounds of it. Many things can trigger depression including stress, endorphins, people, family problems, emotional problems and chemical problems to name only a few. How are things going before it is a clinical depression you may want to talk to a counselor, school counselor, preacher, teacher, parent, doctor or anybody. How long have you been feeling like this? Are there any problems going on such as a death in the family. Depression can be normal under many situations and circumstances. If it is beginning to negatively interfere with your life than it may not neccesarily be something to worry yourself about. If you have no reason to be upset with the people you are hanging with then you are experiencing depression and should not be afraid to seek someone for guidance.

You start your description with the word "lately." If by "lately," you mean "just these past few days," then I would say you are not suffering from depression. You might be just simply feeling "blue" or sad. . If your symptoms have been going on for a little over two weeks, you may have slight depression. Or you may have a mild case if symptoms seem to come & go over the past few weeks. It doesn't sound like you have major depression, but even still, you should go visit your doctor. He/She can diagnose whether or not you have depression. It's nothing to be ashamed of having, and you'll be glad that you sought treatment instead of allowing yourself to continously suffer and get worse..

Everyone has a gamut of emotions. Never feel you are in an emotional box. Bust through that box by focusing on great thoughts. There is sunshine in life every day, but everyone needs to open the door and let it in.

Yes, it sounds like the beginning of depression to me. Either that or something in particular is bothering you, and it's weighing on your mind.
Go to a counselor and he or she can guide you to what kind of help you most need. There is help. You don't have to feel that way!
