Your ISP is the company you purchase your internet connection from.

the isp is your sevice provider so if you
turn on the pc and 'your there' then you most likely have cable internet

if you do not have cable then most likely you run some sort of program to get there (rather a dialer [aol] or a network program (dsl))

[in this case just check the program]

I would start by looking at your e-mail address. If it is xyz@att.net, it is (most likely) ATT. If it is xyz@nwlink.com it is Northwest Link (actually it is Infinity Internet). If it is xyz@aol.com, it is AOL. There are other possibilities, for instance if you have a different e-mail provider than your ISP, but I will leave you to figure that one out.

Your ISP is whoever you get your internet service through. Whoever you pay to use it.
