is any document required at the time of quitclaim? do i need to show a proof of the title papers (i am on the title and want to transfer property entirely to some other person)?

A quitclaim deed needs to be notarized so you'll need positive ID, preferably 2 forms. Check with the notary public as to what they require.

Hopefully you're not on the loan. If you are, do NOT execute any deed until the other party takes out their own loan! If you do, you'll still be on the hook for the loan but will have no legal claim to the property itself.
