I know this is random but it's bothering me that I don't know the name of this children's book. It was a book about a bunch of bunnies living with their mother and they all had chores. And one bunny inparticular didn't think his chore was that important, his job consisted of pulling out the chair for his mother at supper every night. Ringing any bells? Lol. I think the book was published in the early 90's. Thanks in advance for any ideas or help.

It was published ealier than the early 90s. I got that book at least in the early 80s and it may be even older than that, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I know the kids all helped the mother bunny to become one of the Easter Bunny's helpers cause she had them scatter on his lawn when he was holding try outs for helpers and then rounded them all up to prove her speed. And the Easter Bunny picked her for a special delivery. She was to take a sick child who lived on top of a mountain an egg with a scene inside, but she couldn't get up the mountain. So the Easter Bunny gave her a pair of magic shoes that let her bound up the mountain in only a few leaps.

I really wish I could help with the name cause that was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. But I can't remember the name either.

Edit: FINALLY, I've been searching for this tile before you even asked. Just did a search that turned up succesful. It's "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes" by DuBose Heyward, Originally published in 1939. Thank you for asking the question cause I wouldn't have found it otherwise.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter.

And for more fun, rent Miss Potter with Renee Zellwigger and Ewen McGreggor.
