It may be a cyst or an ingrown hair. Its best to leave it be.

If you happen to have Epsom Salts, take a lukewarm bath with those to keep that area clean. And dont squeeze or pop it.

If its still there in a few days, have it looked at.

Sounds like its an irritation to shaving or possible bacteria build up. You should probably go to the doctor if it continues to hurt and itch. But in the meantime place a harm wash cloth over the spot and relax. If you had safe sex then don't panic right away until the condition gets worse. Always know before you have sex if your partner as any stds, just because your safe doesn't mean they can't be transmitted through touch.

can you see it using a mirror if you can check to see if there is a little hair in it. if not.... well you can look on www.webmd.com it could be HPV which is one of the most comman STD in the world 75% of the population has it. just not all strains cause the unplesant looking stuff. usually it causes cervical canser in woman and is thought to be the leading contributing factor in cervical canser... (80%) if i remember right. i could be herpes but HPV is much more prevelant. You can look up both privatly on webmd.com and its free. it will tell you what it look like. no matter what its always best to see a dr. for a professional opinion but at the same time i think i would die if went in for an ingrown hair. .... so look it up when no ones around and go from there.....

Dr. are a good thing though. :)

Could be a cyst coming from a gland in that area called the Bartholin's gland but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
