Yeast infection is basically a change in the PH value of the vagina. Too acid or too alkyline and it could result in a yeast infection.

Yeast infections can happen around your period, during pregnancy because your body is going through so many changes. They can also happen if you are ill or have unprotected sex.

If the situation hasn't gotten better with over the counter treatment, drink some cranberry juice and get to your doctor asap.

I personally would never use a 1 day treatment for a yeast infection. If you tried this twice and it hasn't worked maybe it isn't a yeast infection and could be alto more serious and you should seek medical treatment from an ob-gyn ASAP. Good luck and best wishes, Sassy.

I don't really know the answer to your question, but if I were you I'd go to a women's health clinic and get it checked out. It could be something serious. Oh, and I just wanted to comment that I got a yeast infection about 4 days ago, 2 days before my period started...and it was pure hell to go through. I never want to get it ever again!!! The itching and burning nearly drove me insane!

Anyways, you really should go to a doctor and see whats wrong, because that could end up being something serious. You never know. Take care!

This needs to be evaluated by your doctor to see what they think is going on. Sometimes hormone imbalances can cause this.
