What if we could see who's giving each one of us thumbs up /down?
Wouldn't it be better?

I don't think it would change anything..Everyone is free to express his/her opinion...
Probably that would create chaos but if you are confident about your answers you don't have to be afraid...
Moreover you could see who gave you thumbs down on purpose...

Oh, I think we pretty much know what type of person is giving us a thumbs up or a thumbs down. I would start to get scared if I got nothing but thumbs ups!

No, that would only lead to stalking. If I gave some one a thumbs down for a bad answer, chances are they would go to every question I answered and thumb them down out of spite.

nah, there would be too many flame wars and bad feelings, as if there aren't enough already. At times though, when i think my answer is really good, and i get a thumbs down, i wanna thumbs down all their answers on g.p.
