No, lightning is electrical, WIFI uses radio waves. Just like you cant get shocked by lightning using your cordless phone during a storm. Your WIFI router would fry before you damage your laptop.

I doubt if the wi-fi signal would even be working if there's lightning or silimar weather conditions.
If lightning has to strike, all it needs is a metal conductor.

Expanding on alucard817's answer.
If the Laptop is running on battery and as alucard817 stated not plugged into anything connected to the electrical outlets (printer, scanner, monitor, speakers that require external power, and of course the laptop power supply) it should be OK.

Wi Fi is wireless so it shouldn't do any damage. If it did cordless phone users would really be screwed!

Yes if it is plugged in, that is why they sell surge protectors. A notebook will probably fry better than a desktop.
