This is how I remembered my list of stuff I needed at the store last night

I pictured a monkey sitting on a book surrounded by pints of milk, soaking his feet in cheese dip while dipping nachos into his coffee.

I have to visualize a lot of things, the more bizarre the easier I remember.

I'd remember "Air Frog me like" this: I'd picture you as a frog floating on air beside the word Me.

For names it takes me a few guessing trials (in my mind) in order to get someone's name right. I usually do that for the people I am getting to know and if there is a name I have to know I am very sincere and straightforward vocally and mentally about acknowledging the importance of knowing that particular name.

For dates and all that, the ones that strike me as more important for whatever reason seem to stick out in my mind much more easily.

For important dates like birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, etc, I write them on my desk calendar. For important names and other things I write them in a note book.

I write them down. Once I write them I don't need to actually have the paper that it was written on. It''s a visual thing for me.
