Is 5,000 enough for an 18 year old to move to las vegas?

5,000 should be enough to settle in to which ever destination you choose in the southwest. just be sure to line up a job as soon as you can and perhaps move with someone you know

Yup its enough!
You can actually find a decent apat for 650.... plus deposit of coarse and utility bills first month can be like 200.....
the good thing over there is that you can actually get a job very fast!!
But 5,000 should be enough for the first couple of months

plenty to get you settled and find a job. you will do fine with that amount of money
