First a couple of questions. Is this a refrigerator/freezer or a deep freeze?
If it is a deep freeze, normally the control is on the outside of the box. Also, if it is a deep freeze, when was the last time you defrosted it? If the answer is you do not know, then you probably need to take everything out and defrost the unit. (Ice is a great insulator just ask those who have stayed in an igloo). If you have defrosted the unit, and have little in it, then wet down some newspaper and place them in plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Air is very hard to get cold and maintain cold.
If your unit is a refrigerator and it is not cold enough in the freezer check a couple of things.
First make sure the access to the air vents is not blocked.
Second, place your hand on the frame of the unit and see if it is hot. If it is, your unit could be stuck in the defrost mode. You could find the defrost timer by the coils. Insert a flat blade screw driver onto the timer shaft and gently advance it in the direction of the arrow.
Third, check both your freezer control switch and the fresh food switch. (These should be located in the fresh food side normally in the back towards the top.) The controls should not be set at maximum but rather about mid-way for both.
If you have tried all of the above, your unit could have a refrigerant leak. If it does, then look for a good sale on refers.
