wow, only two people made a crappy joke, i am surprised
But really Zero Point Energy is just a name not really a term of sort, quite possible that alien spaceships may employ something of that sort

they might, asumming that both aliens and zero point energy exist.
However, to the best of my knowlege, neither aliens, nor zero point energy have been proven to exist.
but they might, you can't prove a negative.
personally, I am partial to matter / anti-matter engines, myself. they worked in star trek. and if you think about how much better today's cellphones are when compaired to Kirk's comminicator, our anti-matter warp drives will be amazing. Just imagine, being able to travel faster than the speed of light, AND take blury, low resolution photos of our friends. i cant wait.

Well, both alien space ships and zero-point energy are both fictitious, so perhaps they could. But not in the real world.

Energy that is created without the need for a natural resource I think? An unlimited source of energy even.

All those I have piloted require solid imulsion fuel slugs to power their sublight and hyperspace drives.
