You become what you think about.
A friend told me that quite some time ago. It has never left me, and has even helped me though some events in my life.
When I was robbed, I was scared - but if all I could think about was being a victim, then all I would ever be is that victim.
When I get self-concious about being of average looks - if all I can ever think about is being ugly, then I will only ever be ugly.
Your attitude tunes to your focus. If you focus on the negative, all you will be able to see is negative. I am still very much a cynic, and I find that laughing at the world is often better than arguing with it. I'm not the sort to run amuck, obliviously happy and ignorant...
...but this WILL help you to see a point in why people choose to run amuck instead of blowing their brains out. We've only got one shot at this world, mate - while everything good is a pleasant surprise if you stay depressed, let me give you a secret - you can perpetuate your own good things. Call it fate, chance, Karma, whatever - more positive things will come your way if you yourself are willing to see them.
Good luck! And remember, it's OKAY to be pessimistic sometimes. It's called reality. However, keep in mind that living your life that way limits you, and is wasting your time.

You are what you think, and how you think is largely based on your attitudes. So go forward with the idea that you will work on changing your attitude each time your thinking gets negative. You will hopefully be surprised how your thinking changes over time.
Life is tough, but there really no hiding places to get off. Come to grips with yourself including where you fit into the grand scheme of things and "get er on".

Adopt attitude of gratitude and say before going to bed " thank u God for loving me and thank u God for blessing me with ur divine protection". In the morning drink a glass of water before brushing and while drinking water say in ur breath " I am positive strong and victorious in my life" during the day if u feel negative repeat " I am positive--------" till negativity goes out. It will work. All the best to u.

"I am a MIRACLE! The odds against me being here are astronomical. God saw fit to create me. I have a purpose. This is why I'm here. I get to figure out what it is. This is my personal adventure that I get to, not only explore, but to even CREATE. My creator wants me to look to him for guidance as I make this voyage that is my life. This way I can navigate through the storms and darkness, knowing I possess him as my sure guide.
He will help me determine my way. My God cares for me and encourages my success and happiness.
I KNOW this to be so."

If you find the difference between positive and negative attitude, you need not be told by anybody and anything. You are fully aware of that and you don not need any help form others. Yours VRVRAO

It's all up to you. You don't need a magical phrase to transform your attitude, you don't need a book, poem, song..etc. Your own power comes from within.

Those who have suffered from loss tend to grow more positive and optimistic. Those who suffer because they want MORE than they have tend to grow negative and pessimistic. Optimists are givers. Pessimists are takers. I only pray for optimists.

Just roll with the punches, there is always someone worse off than you. Count your blessings, dwelling on the bad is never good. Set your sites on whatever it is you want and go for it. Good luck.

It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence, to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass."
-Abraham Lincoln
Many things can be said to encourage you, but who knows which one you need to hear? I hope your negative thoughts pass soon, and I will say a prayer for you now. I wish you the best.
