the symtoms of the alternator being bad is it would be loud, it has nothing to do with any hesitation, that is a different issue

So, without diagnosing the problem and verifying what it was, you replaced a fuel pump, an o2 sensor, a mass airflow sensor, and the ECU. This is possibly the stupidest thing I have heard, not to be rude, but it is entirely possible your hesitation problem is being caused by a bad ground in the wrong place. Stop the guesswork and get your vehicle to a shop that can properly diagnose it.

The alternator shouldn't be causing the hesitation. You will have a squeak in the alternator and the worse the bearing the more noise it will make.

Have you ran the error codes on the cars computer yet? That may give you some clue as to the problem.

good luck

it is possible if the alternator has a low output to accompany the noise, that the vehicle would also run poorly. i have seen this just last week. go to a shop and have the alternator output measured . and see if you dont just need to replace the darned thing for two reasons.... if the bearing goes bad you will hear a squeal or whine changing pitch with engine rmp.

replace alternator asap, it could lock up and break the belt, car will over heat and no power steering, hesitation may be a clogged fuel filter check voltage at throttle position sensor should be about .05 volts and increase as you open the throttle to 4.5 to 5.0 volts at full open check for gletches as you open it could be a dead spot.
