Can you give us more information, please? What are you naming? Karnette is an okay name for a female car (my car's name is Natasha), but if you're naming a baby girl, she'll probably be teased. The kids will come up with tons of variations of her name (Corn-net - those little corn on the cobs used in Chinese cooking; Karnette - Hairnette, blah, blah)...
Garnette - hmm, same thing pretty much. I do hope Garnette is being considered for a boy name - it is way to feminine.
In any regard, it is up to you to name whatever it is you're naming, just think of the ramifications though before you sign it on the dotted line.

i don't get the parentheses; is Gahnette supposed to be pronounced Garnette or Garnette pronounced like Gahnette (like you're from New York,or something?) if the H is supposed to be pronounced as an R, or the other way around, no one will ever know that and it'll never be pronounced correctly. Anyway, honestly,i don't really care for either, sorry. How about just Garnet ,like the gemstone? It's still unique, but not too out there and people will be able to prononce it. Plus, it's a pretty name.

Sorry... not a fan. Gahnette sounds like Scarlett O'Hara got drunk and tried to find her missing jewelry. Kahnette sounds like a town in Tennessee that tried to mimic the Egyptian style of Memphis and got Karnac garbled in the translation.

I think the pronounciation version is a better spelling for those names. It will help the kid out in the long run having people be able to pronounce his name a bit easier.

Yuck! Sorry but I hate "create-a-names." No one can spell them or pronounce them and they make it seem like the parents tried way too hard to be creative. I prefer more conventional names that aren't commonly used.

I think they sound nice, but the spelling will give them a lot of problems and explaining in grade school & growing up.

Gahnette would be alright as a variation of Jeanette/Janette... otherwise, they're too "out there" and my kids (well the girls) have very unique names LOL

Not a fan at all. Sorry.
Both look like a brand name for an appliance.

don't go for strange. My sister wanted to name her kids old names... like names that others never hear so that it would be unique, and she chose derian and cade. cute, right? and not really weird and spelled wrong and weird. i think that you should choose names that you never hear, and spell them right, so that your child can be unique and not bullied!!!
