The desert animals are adapted to their environment and usually don't need help.
Providing food or water to wild animals isn't always wise, because they may come to depend on you instead of their own resources.

By encouraging others not to destroy their habitat. I write animal facts for a website and what I see over and over as I do research is that many animals are endangered due to shrinking habitat.

If you want more info, check out some of the animal facts on our site. You've made me aware that I need to start covering desert animals - though I do in the blog. (Link at the bottom of the page.) A recent blog dealt with coyotes and how not to encourage them in your neighborhood.
