When he puts his name in the hat, I might consider giving him my vote. Sorry, Obama.

A mover and shaker, alright... he'd move the dems to shake in their shoes!!! But he does have too much baggage leftover from his term in congress. While he has the intellect for the office, he just does not have the electability.

Have a right-wing day!

Gingrich was smeared by the Clinton machine, and has a pretty bad reputation, although no one is really clear what he is supposed to have done. What it comes down to really, is that he received a large advance for a book he was publishing. Despite the fact Hilary received an even larger advance for her book, that was enough to bring Gingrich down. I think his time has passed, but he is definitely one of the smartest people running for Prez, and could bring lots of ideas to the campaign.

I'm a republican, but I think Gingrich is way too controversial! He's had too many issues in his past for the Libs to let him get anywhere near the presidency. There are better candidates out there for the Republican nod.
