yes -
Each women should be entitled to the right of choice over her own body. There are many more issues around an unwanted pregnancy -whether that be cause the woman was raped, can't financially afford to raise a baby or isn't in the position to - than just saying, well if she doesn't want it, she should go through with it and give it up for adoption. Who is going to pay for medical expenses for situations like that, what if the woman has to take extended time off from work and loses a source of income - are they going to be compensated for that?
The abortion debate isn't black and white - there is much more to it than just saying "you had sex so now live with it" - its the child that has to live with it more than anyone else, so if the parents don't have stability prior to having a child, how are they going to be in a better position afterwards? And its the child who will suffer more if that is the case. People say that its punishing the child to have an abortion, but what would you call it if the parents can't take care of the child and give it what it requires - isn't that worse punishment cause it is the child that then suffers and doesn't get a break. Don't make a child suffer through life cause of something that happened to the parents - allow them to be mature enough, and have the abilities to look after a child, including security and money.
If abortion was banned, it wouldn't stop women from resorting to it, all that would happen is things would go back to how they were in the past, and it would put more lives at risk.

Hmm, what do you mean by 'support'? That is a very tricky word.
On the one hand, I personally believe that abortion should remain legal just for the safety factor. I'm a little young to remember 'back-alley' abortions, but I'd read/heard that many women died from them. We as a Nation shouldn't want to go back to that dark time.
On the other hand, I very much oppose women/girls who use abortion as a form of birth control - that is wrong - plan and simple; however, I do advocate having an abortion if the pregnancy is too high-risk for the woman/girl OR if the woman/girl has been sexual assaulted.
I get really annoyed with the protestors in front of Planned Parenthood and other facilities that offer the abortions. Just who the heck do they think they are, running up on women whose situation they don't know, judging them! That really gets my goat. Don't these folks have jobs?

abortion is murdering an innocent baby- how could anyone support that? And for people who say a woman has a right to do whatever she wants to her body. Does her body die in the abortion? There are 2 hearts beating when a woman walks into an abortion clinic- and one stops while she is there. I know that this sounds harsh, but really what I say is nothing but the truth. NO woman can say her baby does not have a heart. At 3 weeks after conception there is a heart beating. If a woman is raped, I could understand why abortion may be thought about- but I have talked to a few women who chose to place their child for adoption in this case, instead of living with the guilt of taking their baby's life. And by the way, abortion can be dangerous for the woman as well- it is not as simple as people make it out to be.

i am not sure i used to support it all the way but that was before i seen what a 8 week old baby looks like and then the thought of someone delebritly killing it was just like wow i really didnt understand , but in cases of rape and domestic violence i do agree its confusing i really cant say what side im on i think maybe if it was harder to be able to have an abortion it would be allot better you shouldnt just be able to have one because you made a mistake im not religous at all , but i still feel its wrong i think in allot of society its to easy to not take responsibility for yourself and abortion makes it so easy for people to just go oh well i made a mistake but i dont have to deal with it

While I do not think that abortion is an easy solution to an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy, I do support a woman's right to choose...especially in certain situations (such as rape or if it is potentially dangerous to the mother's health to give birth).

That's a loaded question, very few people "support abortion".
If you meant, "are you pro-choice", then yes. But I don't think abortion itself is a good thing.

I do and I dont. I had one, I was very young, had only been with my psrtner for a few months....it probably would have been a disaster for everyone if i decided to keep it. But on the other hand if you fall pregnant if your a bit older, financial etc you may as well give it your best shot. Security and support is very important......

I am pro-choice.
Personally I don't know if I could have an abortion or not. It would really really depend on the circumstances.
EDIT TO ADD:
I also believe abortion has been around since WAAAAY before it was "legalized"... and as women, we have found ways for generations to control our births. Before doctors women took this into our own hands, we did not rely on a Medical Establishment to dictate our reproductive lives. We learned to follow our body's rythms and some women knew ways to induce miscarriage, I'm sure this passed as word-of-mouth. I'm sure it wasn't 100% safe at points and times... But I'm telling you I've spoken to women with great determination and a strong protective drive who have told me ways they have had to do this. They are NOT proud, but they own their decisions because they did what they had to do to protect themselves and their children.

WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU ASK A BUNCH OF PREGNANT WOMEN THIS QUESTION??? Most of the people here are pregnant or would do anything in this world to be pregnant and would not dream of hurting a baby!
THERE IS A SECTION FOR POLITICAL ISSUES ON Y!... USE IT!!!!
Surely you will find a friendlier venue for this question there!
I find that people that ask this question here are just looking to stir a bunch of emotions in a bunch of overly emotional people.... So, go elsewhere!
Best Wishes!

WHY NOT ASK A QUESTION LIKE?
SHOULD A FEMALE, WHO HAS BEEN RAPED AND IN RESULT FALLEN PREGNANT, BE ABLE TO GET AN ABORTION?
SHOULD SHE HAVE TO PLOW THROUGH PROTESTERS AS SHE ENTERS THE ABORTION CLINIC?
I KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAD TOO, AND 4 YEARS ON SHE CAN STILL SAY THE PROTESTERS AND ANTI-ABORTION PROTESTERS IMPACTED HER MORE PSYCHOLOGICALLY THAN THE RAPE ITSELF....
WHY DOES THIS QUESTION ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO BLACK AND WHITE !!!!!!!!!!!!
SHOULD A DRUG ADDICT HAVE AN ABORTION?
WHERE WOULD IT STOP !!!!!!!
