Swimming does make your bleeding stop as long as you stay in the water. The water constricts your blood vessels.

If you are submerged in water, this will not stop your period all together. It may slow it from discharging from your vagina, but as soon as you get out of the pool, it will flow freely, and fast.

If you have your period, and want to go swimming, you will need to wear a tampon.

If your period has suddenly stopped, it may be that it was the end of your bleeding for this month.

the water will not make your flow stop. it might SEEM like its stopped, but the water is just diluting it to the point where you cant see it.

wear a small tampon or dont swim. =)
