I need real-life account stories from smokers about how it made life harder financially. This is an essay for economics about the financial downfalls of smoking. Thanks. (and if you know of any websites that have stories please let me know!)

It has impacted every area of my life. It definitely has taken a toll on my health (I have COPD) it has hurt my children's health. It ruins your furniture, clothing, paint, carpet. Employers are reluctant to hire smokers (sick more often and use insurance more often). It takes all your money to feed your addiction and it makes you a social outcast now-a-days.

I've heard lots of tales of how drinking or drugs were financial downfalls. But never from smoking.

You may have a tough time gather research on this topic.
