I have a '96 Nissan 200 SX SE 1.8 liter, I went to start it this morning and it did start and it ran for like 3 seconds but it was making a really loud noise and then just quit. I checked the timing chain, spark and compression....the compression is low but everything else is fine. The last thing I did was yesterday I jump started my motorcycle. Could anything electronicly be wrong since I jump started it? (ie. the fuel injectors not firing?) Could anyone please help?

that shouldn't have hurt anything on it,its possible it might have jumped timing, the belt can still be on it,but the timing can be off real bad, that may be the funny sound your hearing on it,you didn't hurt it by jumping a motorcycle off with it,there's something else wrong with it,start checking things out, you,ll find it,good luck with it.

Out of engine oil and locked up the engine?

What kind of noise?

Screech??
Bang, bang, clunk?
Zip, clank, boom?
Rattle, rattle, whoosh?
