I figure they weren't just planning a surprise party for your coming birthday... It hurts people more if they think you're ignoring them or if you act as if it they can't hurt you that bad (even if you show you're upset). It's always better to react like the only civilized person in the group. Get him packing and kick them both out. But before you do anything else, grab your camera as they get dressed or try to take pictures while they're trying to run out of your house and are gathering their stuff. Hire a lawyer and show him the pictures. If the incident already happened and you didn't get a chance to take any pix, it's up to you -and a good lawyer- to keep the house and everything else you and your husband have.

I would have kicked both of them out sans clothing then would have driven straight to the bank to take out every cent in the checking & savings accounts. Back home I would have the locks changed as you are removing all your husbands suits & other clothing & lining them up the lawn. Next I would generously douse all of them with straight bleach & leave them there to dry & for all the world to see. Then you head to the attorney's office & file for divorce & ask for EVERYTHING! Next you find out all you can about this other woman & if she's married you make sure to tell her husband. This is a recommendation IF you avoid the urge to beat some sense into them. I would personally have trouble resisting that urge.

Oh my! Assuming it's not his mother or his sister, I'd be pretty ticked off.

I'd tell my husband to pack his bags and tell her to take him with her and not to let the door hit their @sses on the way out!

Then I'd probably have a good cry and be angry for a good while, but I'd stay true to myself and not take him back.

Hey - it's better than going to jail over their butts!

Definitely not worth the legal trouble to harm them. You didn't say, but were they treating your home like some cheap motel? If that's the case, your husband obviously has no respect for you, your home or your marriage. Show him the door.

Got a camera?, then take some photo's of them also, this way they both can't lie about the situation and deny it.

P.S. make sure they are real good juicy shots which will prove to be more embarrassing for them lol.

It would be foolish to get down to their level. The best thing to do is to walk out of his life for good. Your dignity is at stake here. You are going to show them by walking out that you are better than them. They are nothing but a pair of rats. They deserve each other. Not only he violated your trust, but to add insult to the injury he also takes her into your sanctuary, your home. He is lower than dirt, and so is she.

Just in the house...like watching TV or playing video games? Or having sex or other compromising positions?

If it was the second. I would calmly go get the big suit case and pack my things. I would pack up my cat too. Then I would leave and not look back.

No need for violence. Just pack his stuff and throw him out. file for divorce. when there is another woman its time to call it quits. Nothing is ever the same after an affair because humans have the need to carry grudges. good luck

Hurting them? As in physically? What would that solve?

Just leave and don't look back, as the other answerer said. It's not worth the fight.

The easiest way to get her out of your house would have been to grab a camera and start snapping pictures, trust me she wouldn't be able to get out fast enough. Then get a lawyer, file for divorce and take him for everything you can get.
