I have two sets of in-laws to buy for as my husband's parents are divorced and married to other people. He of course is no help when it comes to gift giving. His mom and stepfather are outdoorsy and kind of reclusive. His dad and stepmom are always busy and very social. My problem is that neither set want for or need anything. HELP????

No matter how much people have, everyone needs to eat! A nice fruit basket/cake/Hickory Farms gift box, etc. would be appreciated--choose according to their style. (Some people, for example, love Hickory Farms stuff, and some, pardon the pun, find it "cheesy.")

Other ideas:
A nice bottle of wine for each (if they drink)
A picnic basket/blanket for the outdoorsy couple
A nice wine topper for the social couple (again, if they drink wine)
A nice, framed, current photo of you and your husband

Find out who is favorite player is then buy a two picture frame the frames roughly the size you put a school picture in.. then on ebay buy him a rookie card and a game used card or autographed card (2/3 being hockey it should not even be that expensive)... these will be pretty simple to find even though it seems like a tall order.. then put them in the frame it makes for a great gift because you are giving them a piece of somone they truly admire...

I gave this to my mom and she loved it. I only have their wedding page marked but you can go from there. Parents love stuff like this, especially if the have everything.

This company sells wind chimes that you can have inscribed with your feelings, blessings, and love.

They have a great selection of sizes, colors, wind sail shapes, and they even give you examples of things to say if you cant think of something.
