I like Lose Control. The beat is awesome.
Lady Sovereign raps too. But i never really liked her songs..

Missy Eliot is DEFINITELY where to start when it comes to female rappers...I'm not even into rap, but I absolutely love this girl.
Queen Latifah is another, especially if you listen to her older stuff...it was great to see where females started in the business and where they are now.
Lady Saw is another, but I'm not fond of her at all.
Li'l Kim (did I say that right?) is actually a blast to listen to, a lot of her lyrics portray the a strong, confident female sexuality that outdoes a lot of the guys!
That's all I really know of, to tell the truth. Missy Eliot is a great artist, though, and her beats are always fun.

Yea My Personal Favorite Is Mc Lyte
A female that can spit? Yep MC Lyte got the skills. Her voice is so dope and she just spits raw. While she wasn't the first female to release a full LP, there wasn't many doing it back in 1988. She was alot better on the mic than Salt-N-Pepa and she was also outshining a good portion of the males from that era.

Missy Elliot isn't rap. She's more a bit of hip hop mixed with pop.
