Editors make money. That is a profession that people go to college to learn. If someone is offering to edit a book for someone they don't know for FREE, you should think about that old adage "you get what you pay for". How do you know if that person has the skills to do this job? Editors make about 3 - 5 dollars per page based on 250 words per page. That is a veritable bargain considering what they do for an author. Ghostwriters make a lot more than that. So how much are you willing to pay for these services?
As so many people here say, ideas are a dime a dozen. An idea isn't what makes you an author. What makes you an author is the ability to execute those ideas and actually write. Not everybody who has great ideas is cut out to be an author.
Try using an outline. That is a good way to keep yourself focused. Learn to type. Take some kind of a course to learn how to write. A very well known author once said that writing was easy. You just sit down in front of a keyboard and open a vein. If you want to become an author you have to decide if you are willing to do that. Are you willing to sacrifice for your art? If you wanted to become a dancer or musician, you would have to practice every single day for hours and hours. So why do you think writers are any different? We, too, have to study our craft and work hard to become good at it. Great writing doesn't happen overnight. It comes with training and practice and devotion to your craft.
Learning to type is simple. There are tutorials online to help you build speed. There are even free ones. Trusting total strangers with your ideas is just asking to be plagiarized. Pax-C

You know, I'd make a great supermodel...if I could use someone else's body. I also know I could be a really popular rock star if I could just use someone else's voice.
Writing is about WRITING. If you can't write, you aren't a writer. Ideas are a dime a dozen. They mean nothing if you do not have the skill to express them.
Too many people are more enamoured with the idea of being a published author than with the actual craft of writing. Instead of being fixated on what you can't do, find out what you are good at and pursue it.

I'd say that you should make an outline. That might give you direction. The only other thing I'd say is that unless you find a girl/guy you can really please physically, they aren't going to be to willing to help you do edits. My advice is to learn basic grammar and write your own stuff. It's not impossible. I taught myself basic grammar by reading a book. I quit school when I was fifteen, so it was something I took on alone. You can to do it, too. Really. Learn some stuff about how to structure a novel, but you also need to know how to plot your novel. That's about all there is to it.
As always, best of luck, and I'll never say that this could put you in J.K. Rowling's range. You have to make it for yourself.

Learn the craft of storytelling. Writing takes skill and at least some talent. Simply whipping up dialogue and description will not make a story. You have to learn how to craft scenes that build sequences that build acts that take your characters through an arch from an inciting incident that sets them off on a quest to reach conscious and unconscious objects of desire culminating in a final climax that reveals deep insight into your interpretation of life.
Sounds simple? It isn't. But you can do it more effectively if you study how to write a story.
Check out Robert McKee's book, "Story". It's used at the top film schools to teach students how to write a story.
