it varies from woman to woman, and pregnancy to pregnancy. I never had any with #1, on and off with #2, and almost constant mucus for the first 5 months with #3

It varies with each woman. I have had three children and during each pregnancy it was different with each. There are some personal lubricants you can use, but you have to make sure they are dye & perfume free because of baby. I recomend regular K-Y jelly personal lubricant. If you are having extra dischrge you can use a panty liner to protect your clothing, but it needs to be the non deodorized kind. Also don't douche while pregnant, because it can harm your baby as well. If their is an abundance you can talk to your OBGYN about different options. If it becomes pink, green or yellowish in color you need to see your doctor right away as these are signs of infection. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you and your baby. ;o)

the mucous (sp?) that covers your actual cervix thickens and forms a sort of barrier that comes off right before you have your baby (that's one of the ways you know you're in real labor); but as far as vaginal dryness/wetness, when pregnant it varies during stages of pregnancy and between individual women. if you're trying to figure out if you're pregnant by looking at your discharge you're probably not going to get a conclusive answer.

It usually thickens up to provide sort of a barrier. But it does vary with each woman.

It should become thicker, so that germs have a harder time getting to the baby, it's protective.
