Ramin.......id consider taking names that in wont be diffficult to pronounce.......trust me your kid wont like it......i noe.... my names Juanita....its spanish and the j is silent but people just dont keep it silent the pronounce it as gerneeta.....when it yaunita

Taher means Clean of sins
Mehran means Talented

But I've never heard of Ramin or Khoda-dad!

If you mean "Rami" it means Archer.

I suggest Rami.

And by the way, all these names are Arabian not Persian.

Out of the list, I prefer Ramin and Saeed. I said this in another post, if you are of Middle Eastern descent, the names are fine. If you're not it just seems like you're borrowing someone else's ethnicity for the sake of an interesting name. I think it's cool when people pick names that come from their culture. I had a friend who knew someone who named their daughter Juanita, not understanding that it was a Latino name and not understanding why people pronounced it Wah-nita and not June-ita like she did. That pretty much put me off, people picking ethnic names that don't reflect their own ethnicity. I'll step down off my soapbox now!!
