I am not sure if there is a commercial product, but I have emptied a small box of baking soda into my empty dishwasher and then run it through a complete wash and rinse cycle. It seems to help clean all the gunk out of it and makes it smell better.

To clean the dishwasher there is a product you can buy in the grocery store can't remember the name but it is usually beside the rinse stuff to keep dishes from spotting. However white vinegar works for removing the mineral deposites. just put a cup of white vinegar in and run it through a cycle (NO DISHES). Same way you clean a coffee pot.

Run a cup of vinegar through wash cycle once a month, for heavy built-up you might need to leave on soak cycle for several hours.
