i just got my printer to print some pages. I realized there are two cartilege boxes. One for colors, and one for black i guess. When i bought it, it only came with the color ones. Anyhow...

if i keep printing out regular black font notes for school using the color ink. Does it drain faster compare to just using the black one? It seems like my ink lvl is going down a lot it lost 25% printing myabve 30 pages of notes. what do youthink

I would keep the color cartridges and go buy 1 or 2 black cartridges that way you don't use more ink, the color will use more ink and it also cost more to refill, having two black cartridges you don't have to panic so much if you run out.

A printer should have three color cartridges unless it's a photo printer. They usually have one. If you use color to make black, actually a very deep purple, it will use up your color. I don't know what brand or model you have so can't tell much.

you're an idiot. call the manufacturer of the printer and tell them you only got color cartridges in the box that you just bought.
