Completely agree with Sensible man. If you think life is tough now, you don't want to see what real life is like. Unless you are being abused, work out your issues while under your parents roof.

Im not too sure. I would assume that with parents consent that some places would allow it. But my parents/family drove me nuts too. And I just locked myself in my bedroom coming out when I needed something or I would stay out as long as I could with friends at a coffee house. I am now married and have a child of my own and my family STILL drives me NUTS!! But good luck with that. I dont know what the whole situation is but I do wish you luck on regaining your sanity. :)

I don't think so, and I don't think it would be a good idea anyway, especially in your mental condition. If your immediate family is the problem, then perhaps with parental consent you could live with a grandparent or uncle or something, or even with the family of a friend.

No because you most likely have no credit, so you would have to have someone close to you co- sign for you. Live it up your parents pay for everything and everything is care free bliss while your at home. Deal with your parents for now and dont get suicidal about things you've gotta do what I do with my family, just let things roll off of you back that they say to you. Do your chores and help with house work to make everyone else happy.

If you think it is bad now, wait until you have to go to work everyday. Getting up every morning and facing a boss who could care less how you feel. This is called "real life". Enjoy being a kid who gets taken care of while you can.

No one can legally rent to a minor as you are not allowed to enter into binding contracts.
Might I suggest seeking temporary refuge with other trusted adults or a group home setting.
Good luck & take care of yourself!!!

Theoretically, a responsible adult could sign for you.
But in your condition, that may not be a good idea.
You family may not be the problem you think they are.
Discuss this (living alone) with your therapist.
Childrens Services will help in cases of abuse.

If the parents pay for the apartment and the rent is in their name, this may be allowed. It also will depend on the landlord.

i doubt it. its hard enough for us to look for a job let alone a place to live on our own.
untill you're atleast 17 and able to live a full time job, you might want to look into living at a friends house for a while.

you have to be 18 to be in a legal contract. getting an appt. is entering into a contract, so no. your parents would have to sign for it.
