I never let my children run wild in a store and I don't understand why other parents do.

I can't stand it!!!! It is so annoying. Part of being a parent is teaching your children manners and how to behave in public. I think parents allowing their kids to run wild in the store shows neglect and a lack of discipline.

I think that it's sad that the parents have no control over their children. The parents are supposed to be in charge and keep their kids well behaved.

It comes from our society that unfortunately now accepts the fact that it's ok for kids to have kids and raise them without the tried and true methods of the past "Spare the rod, spoil the child".
I blame this "time out" crap.
How about time out for a spanking !

Know the situation first...I have been there...Most of the time is becuase my kids ADHD med has worn off and when its worn off, there is NO controlling the kids....
Some I will agree are needing to control their kids but at times it is easier to let them run and get what you need quickly and get out of there.

I think that they are either lousy parents or don't want the kids. That's how so many kids are abducted these days.
