We can't find the song/artists to an older song that goes something like this:

With every beat of my heart,
I will love only you.
Now and forever,
I will be true!

With every breath that I take...

It seems the song was from a male vocal
group and we haven't heard it in over a
year. No one we've contacted, including
all the radio stations in our area, seem to
recall this song. I know my husband and I
did not dream this one up - it's out there,
we just don't know the name or the group.
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
It seems to have faded into neverland, but I'm
hoping someone has heard it and can remember.

Thanks for replying to my message re"
oldies song, but the 2 answers are not
what I'm thinking, even though your
answers were good.
With every beat of my heart,
I will love only you.
Now and forever,
I will be true!

With every breathe that I take...

This will be a much older song, maybe
in the 60's sung by a male group, we
believe.
Thanks for trying...

Elvis did a song called "I'm Yours" that sounds kind of similar to the lyrics you provided...

My love I offer you now,
My heart and all it can give,
For just as long as I live I’m yours.
No arms but yours dear will do.
My lips will always be true,
My eyes can see only you, I’m yours.

And as the years roll along
Your joy and tears I’ll gladly share,
And when things go wrong dear
Just hold out your hand and I’ll be there,
With every beat of my heart,
With every breath that I take,
Now and forever, sweetheart, I’m yours.

And as the years roll along
Your joy and tears I’ll gladly share,
And when things go wrong dear
Just hold out your hand and I’ll be there,
With every beat of my heart,
With every breath that I take,
Now and forever, sweetheart, I’m yours.

The lyrics sound very similar to Johnny Ace's "Pledging My Love" which was remade by various groups since his version in the early fifties. I hope it's what you're looking for:
Forever my darling our love will be true
Always and forever I'll love only you
just promise me darling your love in return
May this fire in my soul dear forever burn

My heart's at your command dear
To keep love and to hold
Making you happy is my desire dear
Keeping you is my goal

I'll forever love you
For the rest of my days
I'll never part from you
Or your loving ways
Just promise me darling your love in return
May this fire in my soul dear forever burn

My heart's at your command dear
To keep love and to hold
Making you happy is my desire dear
loving you is my goal

I'll forever love you
For the rest of my days
I'll never part from you
Or your loving ways
Just promise me darling your love in return
May this fire in my soul dear forever burn
