Don't put so much pressure on yourself and NEVER compare yourself to others. Everyone is sooooo different. Learn to go with the flow. If you plan out everything it is sure to fail. You need to look at your options, take your time and when your time is right it will all fall into place. And others don't always know what they want. And if they do then good for them.

You have some time still! Many people don't know at 20 what they want to do. I didn't know until I had abdominal pain and went to get an ultrasound. Right then and there I thought that ultrasound was the greatest thing in the world. It was magic - you could wave this wand and look inside someone's body and figure out what was wrong. What a gift! I was 38 at the time so I went back to school for 2 years and now I really feel set in my career. At first I had gone into the arts which was personally rewarding but a financial struggle. These decisions can take time. Realize that you have a path and a destiny - something special to contribute to the world - and it will be revealed to you at the right time.

I don't think everybody knows what to do with their lives..I don't know what to do with mine anymore, since at 51 my now ex wanted a divorce without any warning. I never lived alone before.. I'm not real young anymore, live alone and I'm still trying to get a grip. I can't really work, for reasons I won't go into, so I'm home with my 2 dogs alot. I do alot of babysitting for my 2 grandsons, but other than that, I feel my life is going no where. At my age, I don't have all that much time left before I'm a real focil and end up maybe in a nursing home. Be happy you are young, married and have alot of choices to explore..Everything will fall into place in good time so stop worrying about the future.. I've been told that if you're too worried about the future all the time, you can't enjoy today..I know that's true. So I take it one day at a time. You'll find your niche, so don't be in a big rush. Relax and take your time :-)

Oh don't worry about it. People change careers all the time. I mean, who really knows that what they've chosen today will be what they'd be doing 20 years from now.
My advice to you would be to make sure whatever it is you're doing, that it's something you love. Because, if you're not doing that, you'll never be happy with it.

Go back to school and find something you're passionate about.
I'm 28 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Just because they have careers, doesn't mean they're happy.

You don't have to settle for one thing you do for the rest of your life. Your interests change as your age and your situations too. So don't lock yourself into just one thing. Leave your self open to change.

hmmm... you need to first identify what you want for short and long terms. After that, you will know what you need to do to achieve what you want. There is no easy way out. You always have to work on what you want in life.
