Less than a year ago I became a vegetarian and I am always surprised at how good these meals can be. Try looking through a vegetarian cookbook for ideas.

One of my favorites is tacos/burritos. You take some white rice and mix it with black beans and corn. Put that on tortillas with salsa, sour cream, guacamole... whatever you like. The beans and rice combination provides the protein. Awesome, fun meal.

Usually I crave sugary stuff like candy or ice cream. Studies have shown that women crave the carbs, while men tend to crave meat. How about shrimp? Do you like seafood at all?

Lamb...my Brother did up a whole leg of lamb on the spit. Good eats...sorry AB! Venison is pretty tasty as well! If you are not into the whole "red meat" thing turkey, turkey, turkey. I should mention that I also did up a pig roast...just letting you know my bias so you can make a decision!

Try sushi. I know techinicall it is meat. But it IS different. Start off with a california roll. The crab is cooked. It is delicious!

Also, when I get bored of the same old stuff, I browse recipes on the net, and see what kind of creative dish I can create.

Good luck!

Yea how about stop eating meat all together. Did you ever think of asking those animals if they wanted to be slaughtered for your cravings?

Its never too late to start taking care of your heart so try the Heart Diet and that is, if it swims or flies, you can eat it, if it walks, you can't so chicken, turkey, and fish you can eat but beef, pork and lamb you can't. Its extremely good to eat many veggies and fruits as that strengthens the heart and there is many many meals you can make. go to heart and stroke and buy their cook book.
