No offense but the first 3 answers are accurate.

If you had/have access to limestone; a wet saw; or two wet saws; one portable and one a table model; you might be able to create BLOCKS from raw; rough shaped Limestone.

Certainly an extremely labor intensive effort for a DIY; and to what purpose?

In Australia lots of companies produce reconstituted limestone blocks.
In very basic terms crushed limestone is put thru large seives to get a mixture of limestone dust, small and large pebbles. These are dry mixed with white cement, moistened and compacted into formwork or moulds.
There is special mixtures for different reasons. Eg limestone retaining walls are made with a weaker mixture than houseblocks.
Have a play with different mixes. I am sure that on some web site somewhere someone has given a definite recipe. Remember that the different limestone composites will give different finishes, not just in looks, but also in moisture absorbsion, durability, load capability and lots of other factors.

Find a limestone deposit and carve blocks out of it.

OR you could find a BUNCH of shell fish, pack 'em together under tremendous pressure, wait a few million years and viola- limestone. You'd have to form them into blocks beforehand or do the carving later.
