When you leave the hospital you'll be able to take all the stuff from your hospital room that was provided for the baby. You'll not need to pack a diaper bag from home for the ride home. If, on the odd chance you need something, you'll have all those items from the hospital anyway. All you'll need for the baby is a going home outfit - a sleeper actually is just fine unless you want special pictures plus you'll need the car seat, and maybe a blanket if it's chilly where you live.

Nope, you wouldn't pull the car over and get the baby out of its carseat to change the diaper anyway for such a short trip.

The hospital will provide everything your baby needs except an outfit to wear out of the hospital(diapers, rashcream, wipes, soap, nose sucker, formula if you need it, maybe even a pacifier and diaper bag). You might want to have a recieving blanket and hat also in case your baby is having trouble maintaining his temperature. Actually our hospital let us keep the shirt, hat, and blanket the babies wore also.

Just make sure you have everything ready to go at home so you wont have to go out, and don't be afraid to have visitors bring diapers or wipes.

make sure your baby has a clean diaper before you leave, but pack an extra diaper or two just to be on the safe side....you never know what kind of obstacles will make that 10 minute drive longer....such as traffic and such. I have 2 diapers packed for our trip home and a little thing of wipes, they are going to stay in the diaper bag anyway so might as well put them in there now lol.

No. the hospital will supply u with diapers, wipes, bottles of formula etc for the hospital and to take home with you. the only things u will prob need is a going home outfit for your baby, clothes for you, deodorant, hairbrush, chap stick and pacifier *if u will be using one*. the hospital also provides u with pads, toothbrush and toothpaste and socks...No need for the extra baggage..good luck and congrats!!!

living only 10 mins away is convenient...i would suggest you make sure the baby has a fresh clean diaper on before you leave the hospital (cause sometimes you never know about traffic) that way your safe.

When you bring the baby home, they usually give you diapers. I was able to keep everything in my babys bed. Diapers, formula, and wipes!

I would just use what you get from the hospital since you're only traveling 10 minutes away.

Nope. Don't need it. However, I would get in the habit of having some kind of cloth in the car in case of spit up.
