Michael Kay said it the best.

"He's like the little girl with the curl. He's either very very good or very very bad."

Edwar is either striking out the side, or letting home runs go.

Edwar also takes the bullet a lot. Torre, a lot of the times, decides to throw him in the game when there's people on base with no outs.

He has great stuff, he just needs to work on the consistency of his location and a 3rd pitch.

He has the best changeup I've ever seen, with more experience and a breaking ball he will be among one of the best relievers seen in a long time. He is a very hard worker and that's something I admire, he was cut twice by the Angels before signing a minor league deal with the Yankees and worked his way back to the Majors. I'd like to see more young players have that kind of attitude, instead of taking for granted their place in the majors.

Let's see. Veras is too ugly, Ramirez is too skinny, and Britton is too fat. I say put them in. With Britton and Chamberlain out there, though, there won't be much room on the bench for anyone other than skinny guys like Rivera and Ramirez, so it looks like Veras is the odd man out.

He's been a real stud down the stretch for the Yankees. I'm afraid that if a stiff wind hits the Stadium he'll be carried away with it. He's as skinny as a rail....

I like him -- good guy to eat up innings. Gotta good change - up but needs to work on his control a bit.

they should make him the 8th inning guy and have chamberlain as the closer
