I was wondering - if I plugged her nano into my computer, will it automatically delete her songs? Or is there a button to press to make sure that doesn't happen? What will happen?

Plus, she has a nano and I have a video. Will that affect anything in any way?

Thanks for answering - I'm iClueless. Lol.

no, it doesn't effect anything that she has a nano and you have a video - the software(iTunes) is pretty much the same for all of them.

you can't really connect her nano to your computer to get the music off of it - iPods were meant to be linked to only one computer at a time to prevent people sharing music that way and to promote them buying it,especially from the iTunes store. you could burn the music to cd's, you could use a jump drive to transfer music from her computer to yours or an external hard drive or you could borrow her cds and put them in that way, but you can't connect her nano to your computer or it will wipe out her library if you decide to sync it!!

1st off, Apple is all Proprietary, meaning they exercise ownership over everything and anything gathered from their services, IE ITunes. Plugging your friend's IPod Nano into your PC will only ask you if you want to delete the current library and sync her stuff to yours and vice versa, i had the same problem when i wasted my money on an Ipod (2x's lol) and what you need is a program called IPod Liberator that will allow you to take songs from one unit and place it onto another. ^^ Happy Transfers Friend. -JD

once you're the two on an identical laptop, purely create a clean playlist for her. Then, suitable click each and each music she needs and upload it to her playlist. Then exchange the place the music syncs from. it quite is achieved by using going to the iPod's device internet site, then clicking music, and locate the place the music syncs from. From then on, each music it quite is new will might desire to be extra to her playlist manually. wish this helps!
