that when ducks mate, the one on top isn't killing the one on the bottom?

We saw two ducks mating at the library in the spring, and he was trying to save the one on the bottom by chasing away the one on the top. I tried to explain that they weren't fighting, but he didn't get it. Last week, he said he was sad that spring was coming because he didn't want the ducks to kill each other. So yes, he did ask.

Ducks mate violently. Your best bet would to say they are wrestling.

ha i just told my daughter that my two dogs weren't being mean to each other! I told her that, that is the way they make puppy's ! she wanted to know more but i told her i will let her know more when she is older!

He is too young to ask. I assume he thinks they are playing.
